What Are dermOsomes™?
Dermodality dermOsomes™ are bioactive extracellular vesicles derived from ethically sourced Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (WJ-MSCs). These nano-sized vesicles function as biological messengers, supporting the skin’s natural communication systems that regulate repair, recovery, and visible skin quality.
Exosomes are naturally released by cells and play a critical role in cell-to-cell signaling—the process by which cells communicate instructions related to renewal, balance, and response. Rather than forcing change through stimulation or trauma, dermOsomes™ are designed to support how the skin already knows how to function.
Each vial contains 10 billion fully intact, DNA-free exosomes, independently tested by CLIA-certified laboratories and backed by a Certificate of Conformity. dermOsomes™ contain no plant-based, animal-derived, synthetic, or “exosome-like” substitutes — only true, characterized extracellular vesicles.

Exosomes Are Dose-Dependent
There is no one-size-fits-all protocol with exosomes. Dosing should always be based on the client’s age, skin condition, and treatment goals.
You can apply as little as 0.5 ml (approximately 1 billion exosomes) for a full-face treatment and still see visible improvement. On the other end of the spectrum, you may apply the full 5 ml vial (10 billion exosomes) in one session for more advanced correction or intensive support.

Each vial contains 10 billion exosomes suspended in 5 ml of saline. For simplicity and consistency, dosing is always measured by milliliters of solution, not by exosome count alone.
Dosing Breakdown:
0.5 ml = ~1 billion exosomes
1 ml = ~2 billion exosomes
2.5 ml (half vial) = 5 billion exosomes
5 ml (full vial) = 10 billion exosomes

Clinical Dosing vs. Real-World Treatment Rooms
In laboratory settings, clinical studies have evaluated dosing at 5 billion, 10 billion, 50 billion, and 100 billion exosomes per treatment. Across these studies, 5 billion exosomes consistently delivered excellent results.
In real-world professional settings — including our own treatment rooms — we frequently see visible improvement using 1–2 billion exosomes (0.5–1 ml) when properly paired with exfoliation or advanced modalities.
For providers who want to align closely with clinical protocols, using 2.5 ml (half a vial) per session delivers approximately 5 billion exosomes, matching the most effective study dosage.
